Costa Cruises adds Turkish support to its travel and onboard app
Costa Cruises has announced Turkish-language support for its mobile application in Türkiye. Available as a free download on iOS and Android, the app combines pre-travel planning with onboard schedules and spending information in one digital channel.
Routes and bookings before departure

The localisation was announced as part of the company’s activities in the Turkish market. Costa says it has adapted its digital service into Turkish following industry meetings in Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir, trade-fair participation and visits to business partners. The announcement focuses on language and digital access to the travel experience, rather than the immediate launch of a new cruise route.
Before travelling, passengers can examine cruises and itineraries, access bookings and explore shore excursions. Functions also include managing a C|Club profile and learning about a ship’s shared spaces and experiences. The intention is to make relevant information available across different stages of a journey.
Daily programmes and spending onboard
Once onboard, use extends to the daily activity programme, dining options and shore-excursion reservations. According to the company, passengers can chat with other travellers, follow the ship’s route and view spending from their phones. Completing the digital safety drill is another listed function.
These features aim to combine booking management and daily life on the ship in one interface. A free app download does not mean that travel, excursions or other chargeable services are free. Availability and conditions should be assessed for the particular booking and ship programme.
Costa’s International Region Director Mirco Vassallo says Turkish support is intended to make the experience more personalised and understandable for Turkish passengers. The company emphasises access in their own language from the point when they begin planning a trip.
Announced programmes for the 2027 season

Costa lists 2027 winter and summer options including Costa Pacifica’s Greek Islands programme departing from Galataport, Northern Europe, the western and eastern Mediterranean, the Canary Islands with Costa Smeralda and the Caribbean. These are announcements about future programmes; dates, availability and detailed itineraries should be confirmed through booking channels.
The app is positioned as the digital part of Costa’s approach to combining experiences at sea and on land. Alongside content about culture, food and shore visits, it focuses on helping passengers follow their onboard plans and activities. The principal change for Türkiye is Turkish access to these functions.
