İsotlar Motor takes on KYMCO distribution in Türkiye

KYMCO has announced that it will work with İsotlar Motor for its next phase in Türkiye. The agreement covers sales and servicing as well as preparations for local production of selected models.

The 12 October announcement names İsotlar Motor, part of İsotlar Group, as KYMCO’s exclusive distributor in Türkiye. Sales channels and servicing arrangements will be developed through the new partner. KYMCO was established in Taiwan in 1964 and operates in multiple international markets.

The agreement is presented as more than a new-vehicle sales arrangement. Support for existing KYMCO owners is also part of the companies’ message. The release does not provide a detailed list of service locations or opening dates, so current arrangements need to be checked through the relevant channels.

Skytown features in production preparations

Alongside its role as Peugeot Motocycles distributor and licensed manufacturer, İsotlar Motor plans to expand its manufacturing role for KYMCO. The release refers to preparations involving several models, specifically naming Skytown while leaving the other models unspecified.

That does not mean every KYMCO model has entered Turkish production. Versions, capacity and sales prices require separate product announcements. The AK575 photographs accompanying the release are brand promotional images, not confirmation that this model will be manufactured locally.

November target and after-sales support

İsotlar Group executive Emre Acar describes the aim as combining KYMCO’s brand and technical experience with İsotlar’s manufacturing role. Maintaining after-sales support for existing customers forms part of that approach.

The release says activities are expected to begin in November. This is a target schedule rather than confirmation that every sales and production step was complete on 2 November. Dealer, service-network and model-specific delivery announcements will show how the new arrangement develops.
