Battery capacity and reverse charging
The X8’s silicon-carbon battery has a stated 13% silicon content. POCO’s tests indicate more than two days of use and retention of over 80% capacity after 1,600 complete charging cycles. Those laboratory results do not guarantee identical runtime for every user over six years.
Alongside 67 W HyperCharge, the phone supports 22.5 W wired reverse charging for compatible devices. Capacity and charging power are different measurements. Runtime varies with applications, display settings and connectivity, while reverse charging also depends on the connected device and cable.
Display, protection and processor
The 6.83-inch 1.5K display has a stated peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits across a 25% screen area. That is not continuous full-panel brightness under every condition. The device includes Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, Xiaomi HyperOS 3, HyperIsland and Google Gemini integration.
Listed protection features include IP66/IP68 and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Water- and drop-resistance tests should not be interpreted as unlimited protection in every real-world scenario. The manufacturer’s underwater mode does not remove the specified protection conditions.
Cameras and availability
The main camera provides 50 MP resolution with OIS and EIS, accompanied by a 16 MP front camera. Dual Video allows simultaneous recording from the front and rear cameras. AI editing options include object removal, image expansion and glare removal.
Orange, white and black versions were announced. TRY 32,999 is the recommended price in the 12 October release, not a guaranteed current price. Product, seller and stock terms should be checked through Xiaomi’s official site and the announced online channels.
