Oyunfor and AZALMiles have announced a partnership connecting digital-game and e-pin purchases with earning miles. Programme members will be able to collect miles through eligible purchases on Oyunfor.
Digital entertainment meets a travel programme
The partnership announced by digital-game and e-pin platform Oyunfor concerns registered AZALMiles members. According to the release, they will be able to earn AZAL Miles through purchases on Oyunfor, adding games and digital entertainment to the programme’s earning opportunities.
The agreement links digital-product spending with a travel loyalty programme. Miles are described as an additional programme benefit. Purchase value, miles earned and the services those miles may later obtain are different measures rather than interchangeable amounts.
Scope announced, detailed rates not supplied
The release sets out the framework but does not state an earning rate per amount spent. It does not detail whether every digital product is included, applicable limits or the steps for linking accounts. A numerical example of miles earned on a particular purchase therefore cannot be established from the announcement.
Users should review the current partnership terms before purchasing. Returns, combinations with other promotions and the time required for miles to appear need to be assessed under the programme’s published rules. The announcement does not establish unlimited or automatic rights on these points.
Oyunfor’s approach to the partnership
General Manager Mehmet Dumanoğlu describes the agreement as a way to extend the digital-entertainment experience through benefits in other areas. Oyunfor aims to offer additional rewards on existing shopping activity and build a long-term relationship between the partners. Those statements describe company intentions rather than measured increases in sales or users.
The agreement is an example of gaming platforms and travel loyalty schemes developing connected use cases. Its concrete news is the announced opportunity for AZALMiles members to earn miles from Oyunfor purchases. Individual benefits will depend on the applicable products, membership and promotion terms.
