LG reports third-quarter revenue of KRW 23.82 trillion

LG Electronics reported revenue of KRW 23.82 trillion and operating profit of KRW 781.9 billion for the third quarter of 2026. The company identifies subscriptions, business solutions and data-centre cooling among its growth areas.

Nine-month revenue reaches KRW 71.38 trillion

LG’s reported revenue for the first nine months reached KRW 71.38 trillion, an increase of 9.2% from the corresponding period a year earlier. Operating profit for that period rose 55.9% to KRW 4.03 trillion. Quarterly figures and nine-month totals cover different reporting periods and should not be used interchangeably.

Third-quarter subscription revenue increased 8.6% to KRW 760 billion. Business-to-business revenue grew 3.4% to KRW 6.1 trillion. These figures show the role of services and corporate customer relationships alongside one-off device sales.

Results across business divisions

The Home Appliance Solution business reported revenue of KRW 7.04 trillion and operating profit of KRW 259.2 billion. Media Entertainment Solution recorded KRW 5.02 trillion in revenue and KRW 146.7 billion in operating profit. Vehicle Solution reported revenue of KRW 2.83 trillion and operating profit of KRW 190.3 billion.

Eco Solution posted revenue of KRW 2.17 trillion and operating profit of KRW 87.2 billion. Climate and energy-related solutions are important within that business. Segment figures should not be compared with the group total through simple addition without considering consolidation and the company’s reporting classifications.

Data-centre cooling and future plans

LG says orders for AI data-centre cooling have exceeded KRW 3 trillion, compared with a reported KRW 600 billion in the first half. An order total is not the same as revenue recognised during the period. The company also outlined KRW 220 billion in capacity investment for this area.

Robotics, Data Factory and AI Home feature among its forward-looking initiatives. Fourth-quarter expectations and capacity plans need to be distinguished from completed third-quarter results. The figures describe the company’s operating position and do not guarantee investment returns or future profitability.
