The 20th EIF Energy Transformation Fair and Congress will bring renewable energy, storage and domestic technology production to Antalya’s ANFAŞ exhibition centre.
The energy sector meets in Antalya

EIF 2026 is scheduled for 5–7 November 2026 at Antalya ANFAŞ Exhibition Centre. In its 20th year, the fair and congress will bring together energy companies, investors, industrial businesses and technology suppliers. Renewable generation, electricity storage, domestic manufacturing and industry’s green transition are central themes.
The organisers describe the event as a place to examine new technology and investment opportunities across the energy sector. Its programme spans solar and wind power, biomass, rooftop solar systems, energy storage and electric vehicle charging technologies. It is also intended to connect businesses through meetings and commercial discussions.
Managing generation as well as expanding it

EIF Chairman Murat Dilek said renewable energy potential needs to be supported by appropriate investment and technology. Solar and wind generation vary with weather conditions and the time of day, making storage and grid planning important parts of the transition. He argued that increasing production alone is insufficient: the electricity produced must also be managed effectively.
According to Dilek, developing storage solutions and using resources efficiently are essential to making energy supply more manageable. The exhibition will therefore address the interaction between new generation capacity, storage infrastructure and grid requirements rather than treating each as a separate subject.
Domestic manufacturing and export competitiveness
Dilek also highlighted Türkiye’s manufacturing capacity and engineering expertise in solar and wind equipment. He said a sustainable domestic production and investment environment is important if local suppliers are to compete internationally. Continued investment at home, stronger capacity and support for engineering skills were presented as connected priorities.

The announcement also identifies carbon-related requirements and sustainability regulation, including the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, as factors encouraging exporters to examine energy consumption and emissions. Dilek stressed the role of energy efficiency measures in that process.
Tourism creates a local use case
Antalya’s solar resources and the energy needs of its tourism industry will provide a local context for the discussions. Dilek pointed to hotels as potential users of efficiency measures, rooftop solar and storage systems. He invited industrial businesses, tourism operators, exporters and investors to meet at the fair.
EIF began as a congress and subsequently expanded into a combined congress and exhibition. The organisers say the 2026 event will continue its focus on investment, technology and transformation through sessions, business meetings and opportunities to examine suppliers’ solutions.
