Eleventh e-Safe Cybersecurity Summit takes place in Ankara on 4 November

The eleventh e-Safe Cybersecurity Summit will bring public institutions, academia, businesses and students together in Ankara on 4 November 2026. Its programme combines cyber threats, hybrid warfare, careers, practical training and a university-team CTF competition.

Cyber threats and careers lead the agenda

Supported by the Turkish Informatics Association, the summit will be held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Beştepe Campus Conference Hall. The announcement gives event hours as 09:00–18:15. The main auditorium programme centres on “Cyber Threats and Hybrid Warfare 3.0” and “Careers in Cybersecurity”.

Alongside a career panel, short technical presentations by specialists in different fields are planned. The event aims to discuss current organisational risks while connecting young people interested in cybersecurity with industry representatives. Parallel activities and meeting areas extend the programme beyond the main auditorium.

Cybersecurity Academy classes cover both offensive and defensive perspectives. Announced topics include APT simulation, security in SCADA/OT environments, threat hunting and defence using Wireshark.

An organiser update dated 28 October states that the fourth course, “A Shield Against Information Warfare: Cyber Threat Intelligence and Combating Disinformation”, was cancelled because of technical issues. The updated capacity is seventy-five participants across three classes, with no more than twenty-five per class. Earlier references to four courses and one hundred participants therefore do not describe the current programme.

A Capture the Flag competition is also planned for university student communities, with teams of two to four participants. It is intended to let students apply technical skills in a controlled competition and gain team experience.

Meetings, live analysis and registration status

Work X sessions focus on live analysis, while B2B areas provide space for meetings between organisations and cybersecurity companies. A knowledge competition at the end of the day is also among the announced activities. The organiser positions the summit as a platform bringing together different levels of experience.

Attendance is free but subject to advance registration and capacity limits. The official homepage gives 1 November 2026 at 23:00 as the general registration deadline. As that date had passed when this report was prepared, the earlier invitation’s call to register is not being presented as a guarantee that registration remains open. Attendance status, schedules and changes should be checked in the organiser’s current announcements.
