Türk Telekom says its COP31 role covers data centre, network and cybersecurity infrastructure as a Master Partner and Global Digital Transformation and Technology supporter.
End-to-end connectivity for the Antalya summit

Türk Telekom is preparing communications infrastructure for COP31, which will take place in Antalya from 9 to 20 November 2026. The company is participating in the highest sponsorship category, Master Partner, and as the conference’s Global Digital Transformation and Technology supporter.
Its announcement describes an integrated system covering data centres, a network operations centre and cybersecurity operations centres. Fibre and mobile networks, including 5G, are intended to provide the capacity and coverage required by delegates, United Nations officials, other participants and visitors.
Fibre, redundancy and live broadcasting

The company says the summit’s digital infrastructure includes fibre provision for live broadcasts and a high-capacity, redundant switching infrastructure. These systems are intended to support the event’s communications requirements securely and consistently.
Türk Telekom links the project to its wider work on resource efficiency and the use of newer network technologies. Its stated approach combines connectivity, operational oversight and cybersecurity rather than treating the summit as a single temporary access-network installation.
Technology and sustainability as connected priorities
CEO Ebubekir Şahin said the company views technology as a source of economic and social value as well as connectivity. He linked its COP31 participation to the company’s sustainability strategy and its Yarına Sözümüz Var approach.

Şahin said Türk Telekom had invested USD 24.5 billion since 2005 in Türkiye’s digital transformation. He described continuing work on fibre networks, next-generation network technology, environmentally oriented systems and renewable energy investment as part of that wider programme.
Carrying the conference to a global audience
The CEO said the company wanted to use its technology to connect the climate discussions in Antalya with the wider world. He emphasised energy efficiency, resource use and end-to-end infrastructure as aspects of the conference project.
The announcement focuses on preparation of the technical backbone rather than reporting performance measurements from a completed event. Türk Telekom says its work is continuing so that broadcasts, delegate communications and other digital services can be supported throughout the summit.
