İklim Enerji plans to discuss renewable energy projects in East Africa and international cooperation at EIF 2026 in Antalya on 5–7 November.
International projects on the exhibition agenda

İklim Enerji will be the main sponsor of EIF 2026, the Energy Transformation Fair and Congress taking place at Antalya ANFAŞ Exhibition Centre from 5 to 7 November. The company plans to bring its East African renewable energy projects into discussions with international partners. The organisers also expect World Bank representatives to participate.
Founded at Kırıkkale University Technopark in 2016, İklim Enerji says it is taking engineering and research experience developed in Türkiye into international markets. Its announced activities include Oman, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Estonia, Zambia and Azerbaijan. Operations in East Africa are being developed through İklim Energy East Africa Limited in Kenya, supported by local staff.
Building experience in regional energy projects
Co-founder Prof. Dr. Kutalmış Güven described EIF as a platform for sharing work and developing new partnerships. He said the company carries out projects in Türkiye for industrial businesses, municipalities and public institutions, contributing to engineering, permitting and implementation.
In Africa, Güven said the company is following opportunities through its Kenyan operation and developing projects in Zambia and Tanzania. It is also monitoring projects with World Bank guarantees. He distinguished these guarantees from grants, describing them as mechanisms that can facilitate access to finance. The company’s first Kenyan project is intended to build experience that can support larger work in future.

Engineering growth supported by research
İklim Enerji says its research includes AI-supported systems for monitoring solar panel production and identifying possible faults. It has previously applied for Renewable Energy Resource Area projects in Türkiye and aims to carry its engineering and implementation experience into larger renewable energy investments.
Co-founder Onur Özcan said the company wants to develop projects that create long-term value while taking account of each country’s needs and local conditions. He identified expanding the domestic and international portfolio in 2027 and strengthening engineering and delivery capacity as objectives.
A wider technology research programme
The company’s longer-term research agenda also includes hydrogen technologies and small modular nuclear reactors. These are described as research and development interests, rather than operating projects announced at the event.
İklim Enerji says it supports technical and AI training for employees alongside its development work. Its presence at EIF is intended to connect that expertise with potential partners, particularly in East Africa, as it seeks further renewable energy opportunities and a broader international project portfolio.
