EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Future Stars Return to Celebrate Football’s Next Generation
Future Stars Team 1 arrives in Football Ultimate Team™ today, spotlighting rising talents shaping the future of The World’s Game.
Future Stars is coming to EA SPORTS FC™ 27 earlier than ever, sparking a global conversation about who will become football’s next big star. Led by Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha in Team 1, Future Stars celebrates emerging talent from across The World’s Game as the next generation takes center stage in Football Ultimate Team™.
Future Stars has a long-standing tradition of highlighting promising players before they achieve some of football’s biggest breakthroughs. Previous campaign stars include Jude Bellingham, Alyssa Thompson, Pedri, and Bradley Barcola. This year, Future Stars continues to celebrate the players poised to shape the future of football.
One of England’s most promising young talents, Rio Ngumoha, takes the spotlight this year. After scoring a late winning goal against Newcastle last season to become Liverpool’s youngest-ever goalscorer, Ngumoha also made his debut for the England senior national team over the summer.
“I grew up playing EA SPORTS FC and always dreamed of seeing myself in the game. Being part of the Future Stars campaign now is incredibly special to me,” said EA SPORTS FC ambassador and Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha. “Future Stars is all about celebrating the next generation of players and their potential. I’m really excited to be part of this year’s Future Stars lineup.”
From being one of the most-used Future Stars Academy players in EA SPORTS FC™ 26 EVOs to becoming an EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Future Stars ambassador, Rio Ngumoha’s FUT™ Player Item recorded more than 37.5 million goals and 30.7 million assists in EA SPORTS FC™ 26, with EVOs applied to it more than 312,000 times.*
