LAST EPOCH SEASON 5, “RAGE OF THE FROSTBORN,” IS HERE!
The new season introduces Rage of Morditas, new pinnacle bosses, skills, and items, while the base game is available at a 30% discount on Steam until October 8.
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – October 2, 2026 – KRAFTON, Inc. today announced the launch of Season 5 of Last Epoch, the action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by its creative studio, Eleventh Hour Games (EHG). Titled “Rage of the Frostborn,” the new season brings fresh content and challenges to the game.
The update introduces “Rage of Morditas,” a new activity in which players can activate Blood Crystals, fend off waves of enemies, and earn rewards. By using the resources they collect and performing rituals, players can tailor the type and quality of their rewards to suit their preferred playstyles.
The update also introduces Morditas and Pinnacle Morditas, a formidable endgame boss representing the peak of Morditas’s power, offering players more extensive combat encounters and challenging battles. Brand-new Unique and Set items, along with three new skills, provide additional options for character builds and item combinations.
With the Season 5 update, EHG co-founder Mike Weicker will take on the role of Game Director for Last Epoch. Weicker has been involved in the game’s development for more than nine years, since its early pre-production stages began in 2017. In his new role, he will lead the game’s ongoing development and live operations while continuing to uphold the game development principles established by EHG CEO Judd Cobler.
“Taking on this new role means a great deal to me, having spent so many years working alongside the developers and players who have been part of Last Epoch,” said Mike Weicker, Game Director of Last Epoch. He added, “As we continue to listen closely to our players and explore new opportunities to improve the game, I will remain committed to further advancing the core gameplay experience and development philosophy that define Last Epoch.”
