Jay Kim, Head of Customer Experience for the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business and Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics, said: “The Galaxy Tab S12 Series is designed for people who explore new ideas, develop new skills and turn their ambitions into reality. Built with industry-leading hardware, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series combines a large display with the power of Galaxy AI to remove barriers to complex tasks. This allows users to focus on achieving impressive results.”
High Performance in an Ultra-Slim Design
The Galaxy Tab S12 Series combines powerful performance and long-lasting battery life in a slim, lightweight design, giving users the freedom to take their ambitions wherever they go and achieve more. At just 5.1 mm thick, the remarkably slim Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab yet, while also delivering the most powerful performance of any Galaxy Tab to date and supporting all-day productivity. For example, someone working full-time can attend online classes, complete a lesson during their commute and continue working through course exercises on the large display at a café or library later in the day.
Both models are designed to go the distance, helping users maintain their motivation and momentum. On a single charge, the battery lasts up to 23 hours on the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and up to 21 hours on the Galaxy Tab S12+. This supports extended productivity wherever users are. When it is time to recharge, a 45W adapter can charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in approximately 95 minutes. Users can minimize downtime and get back to work.
Beyond long-lasting battery life, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series delivers powerful performance at every stage, even under demanding workloads. Its cutting-edge 3 nm processor offers 61 percent faster NPU processing, 19 percent faster CPU performance and a 17 percent improvement in GPU performance compared with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. In everyday use, these improvements in speed and responsiveness make it easier to handle more demanding tasks. Whether rendering complex creative projects or taking notes during a lecture while asking AI for explanations, the series maintains responsive multitasking and consistent speed. A newly designed 3D Vapor Chamber efficiently dissipates heat, delivering more reliable performance during demanding tasks such as video editing and graphic design over extended periods. Built for durability and resilience, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series also features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Series features a spacious display designed to encourage users to think bigger and give their ideas more room to grow. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s expansive 14.6-inch display makes it easier to explore complex subjects and view multiple perspectives simultaneously. The Galaxy Tab S12+ offers a larger 12.6-inch display and slimmer bezels than the previous generation, providing more screen space without compromising portability. Both models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with peak brightness of 1,600 nits, delivering vivid, crystal-clear visuals indoors and outdoors. Enhanced Vision Booster adjusts brightness in real time according to lighting conditions for comfortable viewing. Audio capabilities have also been upgraded. With four-channel spatial audio offering twice as many channels as the previous generation, the new models provide a richer, more immersive experience when streaming content, watching educational videos or editing media.
Making Everyday Tasks More Intuitive and Effortless
Built on an industry-leading hardware foundation, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series transforms its large display into a flexible workspace, making it easier to manage different tasks. Running Android 17 with One UI 9 and the latest Galaxy AI, the device brings research, note-taking, creativity and AI assistance together in one place. It gives users the freedom to explore new ideas, capture what matters and put what they learn into practice.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Series’ immersive display supports Multi Window, allowing the screen to be divided into up to three sections. For example, users can take notes in Samsung Notes on one side, follow a lecture on another and open an AI assistant alongside them. As key takeaways or questions arise, they can record them directly in Samsung Notes using the S Pen. With Note Assist, users can summarize their notes without needing to pause the lecture.
Both models come with an ergonomic S Pen, providing a precise and intuitive experience for taking notes, adding annotations and sketching ideas. For a more structured, professional workspace, the Pro Keyboard enhances productivity with its premium aluminum design and Galaxy AI Key. The Book Cover Keyboard Slim offers flexibility with comfortable viewing angles and an effortless typing experience.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Series helps users bring information together and receive real-time support whenever curiosity strikes. The device comes with a six-month free trial of Google AI Pro. Users can ask Gemini about anything or explore topics of interest in greater depth. With Gemini Notebook, they can bring notes, images, recordings and files together in one workspace and generate summaries, podcasts and even quizzes. This makes key information easier to understand.
As research deepens, Samsung Browser helps users stay focused and keep track of what they discover. By understanding webpage content, context across tabs and browsing history, users can summarize information across open pages or find a relevant source they viewed days earlier. Instead of searching through previously opened tabs, they can spend more time capturing key findings.
An Ecosystem Designed to Take Skills and Creativity Further
The Galaxy Tab S12 Series provides users with an ideal space to put knowledge into practice. Alongside professional applications, users can further develop their skills with complimentary offers worth approximately $600.
