Poloptech Takes Part in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026)
Poloptech, a Polat Holding company that developed Türkiye’s first domestically produced satellite camera, participated in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), held in Antalya from October 5–9, 2026. Representing Türkiye’s domestic capabilities in precision optics and lens solutions, the company showcased its technologies and engineering expertise at the Türkiye Pavilion, engaging with key players in the global space ecosystem.
The 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), which brings together leading representatives of the space industry in Antalya, is taking place from October 5–9. Organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), and supported by SAHA Istanbul, the congress is held under the theme “The World Needs More Space.” The event features major discussions and meetings on space technologies, next-generation solutions, and the future of the industry.
On the opening day of IAC 2026, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu visited Poloptech’s stand and received information about the company’s work in the space and aerospace sectors, its technological developments, and its engineering capabilities.
Strategic B2B Meetings at the Türkiye Pavilion
Drawing on its expertise in optical design, precision manufacturing, and engineering, Poloptech develops high-precision optical solutions for the space and aerospace industries.
As part of the Lunar Research Program (AYAP), which falls under the National Space Program led by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, the company has developed three space cameras for the lunar spacecraft that will carry out the mission. Poloptech shared its work in this field with international participants at IAC 2026.
Throughout the congress, Poloptech presented a range of products and solutions, from satellite cameras to astronomical telescope optics, while sharing its technical experience gained through Türkiye’s national space missions with representatives of the global space ecosystem.
Poloptech is exhibiting at the Türkiye Pavilion at Hall 1, Stand 1D-08, where it is continuing to engage with representatives of the international space industry throughout IAC 2026.
Until the congress concludes on October 9, the company will continue showcasing its solutions in optical design, precision manufacturing, and engineering to industry stakeholders from around the world.
