Banks’ Reputations in Artificial Intelligence Measured

Amid continued sharp losses in the stock market, a study has examined banks’ reputations in artificial intelligence. According to the average results of measurements conducted by itibar.ai across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude on September 22 and 24, 2026, Garanti BBVA ranked first in reputation and visibility, while Enpara emerged as the leader in sentiment.

The study was conducted at a time when Borsa Istanbul was experiencing sharp sell-offs amid an investment fund crisis. According to calculations as of September 30, the total market capitalization of listed companies had reached TRY 4 trillion.

Developed by StratejiCo., itibar.ai is an AI reputation management model that compares banks’ visibility, sentiment, and reputation scores in responses generated by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. The research results are available at https://app.itibar.ai/sektorel.

Akbank and Yapı Kredi shared third place, each scoring 45 points. Ziraat Bankası received 32.8 points, QNB scored 28.4, and Enpara reached 23.7 points.

Research Based on Three AI Platforms

As part of the sectoral research, natural-language questions are posed to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Questions that do not explicitly mention brand names are submitted multiple times to measure which banks the AI systems mention and recommend spontaneously.
