What Makes STARIA Cargo a Strong Contender in the Electric Light Commercial Vehicle Segment?

STARIA Cargo combines Hyundai’s proven electric vehicle technology with capabilities developed specifically for professional use. Its advantages focus on five areas that directly affect daily commercial operations:

  • Range
  • Charging speed
  • Payload capacity
  • Performance
  • Driver assistance systems

How Quickly Can STARIA Cargo Charge?

Charging speed is a critical consideration for light commercial vehicle users. STARIA Cargo’s 800-volt electric architecture enables the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes under ideal DC ultra-fast charging conditions.

This capability sets a new benchmark in the electric light commercial vehicle segment. Combined with its long range, it minimises vehicle downtime and helps businesses improve productivity. An onboard 11 kW AC charger also provides a practical solution for charging at business premises and overnight.

How Does STARIA Cargo Meet Demanding Professional Requirements?

STARIA Cargo is offered as a three-seat panel van with N1 type approval, combining generous cargo capacity with easy access. The model provides a payload capacity of 1,040 kg, a braked trailer towing capacity of 2,000 kg, and cargo space for three Euro pallets.

Sliding doors on both sides provide access to the cargo area from either side, while rear access and the low loading height make everyday loading and unloading easier. A steel partition separates the cabin from the cargo compartment, while wide-opening rear doors provide convenient access to the load area.

Designed for professional use, STARIA Cargo delivers strong performance even under load. Its electric powertrain provides quiet operation and low vibration, enhancing driver comfort during long working hours and frequent stop-start journeys.

Hyundai also offers STARIA Cargo with a three-year warranty package, providing professional customers with additional peace of mind and greater predictability during the vehicle’s initial years of operation.

What Equipment and Conversion Options Does STARIA Cargo Offer?

Hyundai is working with partners to provide conversion solutions tailored to the needs of local business customers across Europe. The company is also evaluating standardised conversion solutions that could be offered through Hyundai dealerships in various European markets in the future.

The aim is to provide customers with a more consistent and convenient experience. Further details will be announced at a later date.
