VODAFONE LAUNCHES FIRST NEXT-GENERATION 5G NETWORK SERVICE: 5G EXPRESS

VODAFONE INTRODUCES 5G EKSPRES, ITS FIRST NEXT-GENERATION NETWORK SERVICE FOR 5G

Vodafone has announced 5G Ekspres, a next-generation network service that provides customers with priority network access through Quality of Service (QoS) technology. Designed to deliver a smoother 5G experience in crowded and high-traffic environments, 5G Ekspres is the first member of a new family of next-generation network services that the company plans to develop to meet different customer needs in the future.

October 9, 2026 – Operating with the vision of leading Türkiye’s digital transformation, Vodafone continues to turn the next-generation network capabilities of 5G technology into tangible benefits for its customers. The company has launched 5G Ekspres, its first next-generation network service introduced with 5G, for customer use.

Thanks to Quality of Service (QoS) technology, 5G Ekspres provides customers with priority network access, delivering a smoother mobile internet experience, particularly during periods of heavy network traffic and high user demand. The service also stands out as the first member of Vodafone’s next-generation network services portfolio, which the company plans to expand with different use cases in the future.

Meltem Bakiler Şahin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Türkiye, said:

“Until now, mobile communication technologies have primarily offered consumers usage allowances such as data, voice minutes, and SMS. With 5G, network technologies are entering a new era. It is no longer just the amount of data that can be differentiated and personalized; the network experience itself is becoming a service that can be tailored to individual needs.

“In this respect, we see 5G Ekspres not simply as a new package, but as the first example of a new service category that shapes the network experience around customer needs in the 5G era. Thanks to 5G, operators will be able to offer next-generation services tailored to different customer requirements.

“We see 5G Ekspres as the first step in this transformation. With this service, we provide our customers with priority network access and aim to deliver a smoother 5G experience during periods of heavy usage. In the coming period, we will continue to transform the capabilities offered by 5G into different use cases and deliver next-generation experiences to our customers.”

Special Launch Price: TRY 99 per Month

Available at a special launch price of TRY 99 per month, 5G Ekspres has been developed for customers who want to benefit from priority network access during periods of high network congestion.

The service can be purchased only once at a time on the same line and is available to Vodafone individual postpaid customers with 5G-compatible devices.

The priority access service offered through 5G Ekspres enables customers to benefit from Vodafone’s Quality of Service technology when network usage is particularly high.

The service does not include a minimum speed commitment or a guaranteed speed level. The customer experience may vary depending on network congestion, coverage conditions, device capabilities, location, and other technical parameters.

The service is available in Vodafone’s supported 4.5G, 5G, and 5G+ coverage areas.
