VERBİS Registration Marks an Important Step for Zoho in Türkiye
One of Zoho’s latest significant steps in demonstrating its long-term commitment to Türkiye has been the completion of its registration with the Data Controllers Registry Information System (VERBİS). The company views this milestone not merely as the fulfillment of a legal obligation, but as a tangible demonstration of its commitment to the Turkish market, its emphasis on data privacy, and its trust-based approach to technology. This approach also reflects the importance Zoho places on data privacy, regulatory compliance, and digital sovereignty.
Looking ahead, Zoho plans to continue expanding in Türkiye through its partner network, further strengthen the technical and commercial capabilities of its existing resellers and implementation partners, and reach more businesses. The enterprise segment is also a key component of Zoho’s growth strategy in Türkiye. As the company expands projects addressing the artificial intelligence, automation, and data governance needs of large organizations, it aims to help them simplify their technology infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen resilience in the face of changing conditions.
Zoho aims to support more organizations with integrated, secure, and privacy-focused technologies by growing alongside its ecosystem. Through this approach, the company seeks to establish itself in Türkiye not merely as a technology provider, but as a long-term technology partner that creates lasting value in areas such as trustworthy and responsible artificial intelligence, data privacy, and digital sovereignty.
Zoho Europe Managing Director Sridhar Iyengar commented on Türkiye’s role in the company’s growth strategy:
“Our relationship with the Turkish market is not new. As Zoho Corporation, we have more than 20 years of experience in Türkiye through ManageEngine, while Zoho has been supporting businesses through its partner ecosystem for approximately 15 years. With its strong digital transformation potential, dynamic technology ecosystem, and growing enterprise market, Türkiye is a strategic market for us. Our customer base growing by more than 25% in just the past year further reinforces our confidence in Türkiye’s long-term potential.
“Our goal is not simply to provide technology. Through our integrated platform approach, we aim to help organizations build more efficient, agile, and resilient operations, while viewing data privacy and trust as fundamental elements of this transformation. Completing our VERBİS registration is another tangible demonstration of our long-term commitment to Türkiye and the importance we place on data privacy.”
Zoho: “An AI Strategy Cannot Be Separated from a Data Strategy”
According to Zoho, successful digital transformation is not about increasing the number of software applications a business uses, but about building an integrated technology ecosystem that connects people, processes, and data. As organizations grow, the use of disconnected applications across different business units can lead to data silos. This fragmented structure can create risks not only for operational efficiency, but also for data security, access management, regulatory compliance, and the accuracy of AI applications.
For this reason, Zoho emphasizes that an AI strategy cannot be separated from a data strategy. Reliable, well-governed data provides the foundation for generating sustainable value from AI technologies, particularly as these technologies become increasingly integrated into everyday business processes.
This approach is reinforced by Zoho’s philosophy of owning its technology stack in its entirety, including its infrastructure. Zoho’s data centers in the European Union serve businesses across Europe in line with applicable compliance requirements, while giving the company greater control over data privacy, security, and technology optimization.
